Classic Munros – Pure Freedom – The Glorious Munros – God’s country

It was one of those classic walking weekends that you dream about as a Munro bagger, so it was. I had attempted the prevoius weekend way ma nephew to do the 3 Munros in Knoydart but had to pull out because of bad weather and ma nephew was a fair weather walker and couldny hack the consatnt rain up the hill.
So I sped off the following weekend on ma todd to do the 3 of them.† Billy McKenzie kindly obliged again with the boat ride over from Arnisdale. I stayed in the Bothe at Barrisdale on the Friday night and got up early doors the next mornin to have a go at the big 3. Utterly amazing experience, even although I didny get a view walking up to the top of Ladhar Bhienn via Coire Dhorrcail the grandeur of the mountain was apparent. I just sat at the tap and took in God’s magnificence in creating this mountain.
